Life Lyrics

Writing, Wreaths, and Steamy Wild Ideas

Dear Folks,

It’s been a week, let me tell you!

First up, steamy romance inspiration: I interviewed Melody Fowler, author of Life Lyrics: Life, Sex, and Other Deviances. Her book is raw, witty, and entirely relatable—doesn’t the title say it all? Melody even read ‘Ballerina’ an excerpt about an erotic dancer. I’ve included a preview, but paid subscribers can enjoy the full video.

Second, my holiday novella Fairytale of New York (steamy, interracial, and oh-so-festive) is creating quite a buzz! If you want to read it, hit reply, and I’ll send you a link—but fair warning: it’s not cocoa-by-the-fire cozy—it’s spicy mulled wine levels of hot.

Thirdly, I bought my Christmas tree this morning. It’s now decked out with new lights and a topper that screams, “Look, I’m festive!” I figured I’d better handle the holiday cheer before hitting the road tomorrow because…

I’m off to Solvang in SoCal 👆🏼! A week of writerly bonding awaits, where I’ll be pitching my long-simmering Christmas story idea. It’s still half-baked, but sharing it with other writers is proving to be ridiculously therapeutic (and mildly terrifying too).

In other news, Vermilion Harvest e-book is officially on sale for just $0.99 this holiday season. It's a steal, so grab your copy while the deal lasts!

And if you're in SoCal, head to Malibu Village Books for a physical copy—your support helps secure me a permanent spot as a local indie author.

And finally, Sundri and Mundri's Lohri Adventure, my first-ever kids' picture book, officially launched this week And hit #1 new release on Amazon! But more about that in a future newsletter. This email is already getting too long.

Happy holidays, everyone—here’s to the most wonderful time of the year —even if it’s borderline chaotic!

Cheers,
Reenita
